Hayden Johnson

I’m a PhD Candidate at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, advised by Grant Deane. The current focus of my work is small-scale ice-ocean interactions. Specifically, I study the release of air bubbles from melting glacier ice into water, the sounds that the bubbles emit during this process, and their influence on the structure of the ice-water boundary layer.
